LCD Display Controller: The STM32U0 integrates an LCD segment display controller, which can directly drive the LCD screen without the need for additional external components, thereby reducing BOM costs and PCB area.

Rich Peripheral Interfaces: The STM32U0 integrates a variety of analog peripherals such as ADCs, DACs, operational amplifiers, and comparators, as well as various communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART, which can meet the various functional requirements of smart water meters.

High Security: The STM32U0 is one of the first MCUs based on the Arm Cortex-M0+ core to target SESIP Level 3 and PSA Level 1 security  certifications, providing firmware code protection to prevent malicious attacks.
